Today we travel to Turkey to show another of the best beaches in Europe in 2014, according to the awards given each year by the travel website TripAdvisor, considering the opinions of its users. We refer to Iztuzu Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches you've never seen.
As you can see yourself, it is a land strip of fine white sand that forms a natural barrier between Daylan Delta River and the Mediterranean Sea. As you can imagine, it is a paradise where you will enjoy a unique beauty.
Iztuzu Beach is located in southwestern Turkey, this beach 5 kilometers in length, has the peculiarity of having salt water on one side and fresh water on the other. Despite being so close, both sides have very different characteristics.
But beyond its undeniable beauty, this beach is important as one of the main centers of breeding loggerhead sea turtles, especially the loggerhead turtles, endangered. Because of this, from the late 80s, Iztuzu Beach is considered as a Special Environmental Protection. Thus, the government of Turkey has established security measures to protect these animals, people can not place hammocks on the nesting grounds, they can not dig holes, they can not use speedboats within a mile around the beach.
